Westhaven is seeking an experienced leader to foster and promote an organisational culture which enables the delivery of high-quality & safe services to enable people living with disability to live life the way they choose.

About the role

As the Regional Manager, Adult Services, you will oversee disability support services to ensure quality and personalized customer experiences. Leading your team of service managers through transformative change focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities:

Business Management

  • Manage day-to-day disability services to ensure quality support and financial sustainability.

  • Analyse financial data to inform staffing needs and client care strategies.

  • Develop and implement Operational Plans aligned with strategic goals.

  • Resolve complex issues affecting client care and operational efficiency.

  • Identify and escalate strategic risks and issues.

Leadership and Team Culture

  • Mentor a high-performing team of Service Managers, fostering a positive, inclusive environment.

  • Promote continuous learning, quality improvement, and operational excellence.

  • Conduct regular quality assessments to enhance productivity and efficiency.

  • Oversee performance management through feedback, reviews, and professional development.

To be on the forefront of this opportunity you will have:

  • Demonstrated leadership capability in managing teams through change, with hands-on experience coaching and developing staff.

  • Advanced problem-solving skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to address complex situations with professionalism.

  • Strong relationship-building skills to work effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proven ability to interpret and use data to inform decisions.

  • Sound financial acumen, including experience in budgeting and resource allocation.

  • Previous management experience in healthcare, community, or not-for-profit settings, with familiarity in quality management and continuous improvement processes.

Essential requirements of the role:

  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications 

  • Current valid NSW Driver’s licence 

  • Obtain and maintain a current paid Working with Children Check (WWCC)

  • Obtain and maintain a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check (NDISWC)
