BFT Team Leader

An opportunity is available for a Team Leader within our Business Facilitation Team.

This position plays a crucial role in leading and supporting Business Support Officers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality administrative services and compliance with the NDIS framework. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, cultivating a positive work environment, and driving continuous improvement within the Business Facilitation Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and support to a team of Business Support Officers, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Review systems and processes within the Business Facilitation Team to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide updates and guidance on NDIS pricing changes and the NDIS support catalogue to your team.
  • Complete online client management reports and ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately.
  • Oversee compliance with the NDIS Act, NDIS Terms of Business, and Quality Standards.
  • Build partnerships to strengthen the services offered to participants.
  • Supervise, support, and review the performance of Business Support Officers, managing rosters and tasks using EmpLive.



To be at the forefront of this opportunity, you will have the following

Skills:

  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on collaboration and motivation.
  • Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using Client Management Systems and Google Suite.
  • Strong understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme, including the NDIS Support Catalogue.

Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience leading and supporting a team in a disability or related field.
  • Proven ability to deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes and quality standards.

 

Essential requirements of the role:

  • Certificate IV in Disability Services (desirable) or relevant qualification or experience in the disability sector.
  • A current NSW Driver’s licence.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a paid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check (NDISWC).
  • Completion of the “NDIS Worker Orientation Module” www.https://training.ndiscommission.gov.au/
