Grant Simpson has extensive experience managing and leading strategy and service delivery programs in the not-for-profit sector, both as CEO, Board Chair, and Non-Executive Director. He is committed to improving the outcomes of vulnerable people, particularly those in the disability and aged care sectors.
Grant’s experience includes steering transformative strategies for service delivery models in aged care and community service programs. He has experience as a senior executive at Anglicare, Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRA) and Lifeline. He is a Non-Executive Director at Westhaven since 2018, as well as for Zapti. Grant is also the Chair of the Excelsior Investment Fund. He is currently a member of the ACCPA QLD Members Council. ACCPA is the peak aged care providers body in Australia.
Grant’s current role is CEO at NoosaCare. NoosaCare is a boutique residential aged care provider located on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. NoosaCare offers a resort-style environment, providing personalised care to residents, while respecting their dignity and choices.
In his role as CEO, Grant is responsible for the development of NoosaCare’s strategic plan and the overall performance of the organisation, ensuring alignment with mission and the delivery of strategic goals. I am involved in building strategic partnerships with all external stakeholders, including government departments at commonwealth, state and local levels.
Grant holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with honours from Griffith University. He is a graduate of the AICD’s Company Directors Course. He has served as a volunteer for charitable and sporting associations such as Surf Lifesaving, The Starlight Foundation and is an avid ocean swimmer and trekker.
